Event | 2024 Engaging Business Forum (October 9, 2024)

On October 16th, Heartland’s Sam Jones will speak at the annual Engaging Business Forum at The Coca-Cola Company headquarters in Atlanta. This Forum convenes leaders from business, civil society, trade unions, and government to address today’s most pressing human rights challenges.

If you’re attending, don’t miss the panel discussion titled “What’s Heightened about hHRDD?” Heightened human rights due diligence (hHRDD) is critical to respecting human rights in conflict-affected and post-conflict contexts. The panel will explore the meaning of hHRDD, its specific elements, how it differs from traditional human rights due diligence approaches, and the practical implications for businesses integrating conflict-related issues into their policies and programs.
