Investor Pilot Project on Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas

Heartland, in collaboration with the Investor Alliance for Human Rights and PeaceNexus, is excited to announce the launch of the Investor Engagement on Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas pilot project.

The pilot project aims to assist a select group of investors in enhancing their human rights due diligence for investments in conflict-affected and high-risk areas (CAHRA). Key components of the project include:

  • Engaging a targeted set of portfolio companies within the technology and renewable energy sectors that face risks in CAHRA.
  • Conducting coordinated investor engagement with these companies to effectively address identified risks.
  • Reporting on lessons learned throughout the process.

This initiative responds to the growing demand from investors for tailored support and collaborative opportunities with civil society partners, enabling more effective identification and management of CAHRA risks.
